Narrow-Edge Glass Sliding Doors

8mm toughened glass (normal white/super white). Can do single track, double track. Maximum 1.5m for single-sided glass.

  • Design: Narrow-frame (or slimline) aluminium sliding doors feature thin profiles, often as slim as 20-25mm sightlines, which prioritise glass for expansive views and a contemporary look. They blend indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly, ideal for patios, balconies, or terraces.

  • Material: Aluminium is lightweight, durable, and resistant to warping, cracking, or corrosion, making it low-maintenance and suitable for harsh weather conditions, including coastal or storm-prone areas.

  • Energy Efficiency: Many models include thermal breaks, Low-E glass coatings, and double or triple glazing to minimize heat transfer, improving insulation and reducing energy costs. Some are certified for energy efficiency (e.g., NFRC certified).

  • Configurations: Available in 2, 3, or 4-panel options, with choices like single sliders, multi-track systems, pocket doors, or lift-and-slide mechanisms for smooth operation. Some systems, like Panoramic Doors’ Slide-Pivot-Stack, offer hingeless designs for enhanced flexibility.

  • Security: Features multi-point locking systems, toughened or laminated glass, and heavy-duty frames for enhanced safety.

  • Customisation: Options include various colours, finishes (e.g., anodised, powder-coated), and glass types (clear, tinted, frosted, or impact-resistant for hurricane zones).

  • Performance: Some Models are designed for high wind zones, with impact-resistant options meeting strict building codes.

  • Operation: Smooth gliding on rollers (bottom or top-hung) ensures effortless use, with some systems offering low-profile sills for accessibility and aesthetics.
